"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." What a wonderful and comforting promise for followers of Christ, It's been a long time since I've had contact with the family but I've never forgotten any of you. Last contact I had was with Martha when she was still living in Statesville which was many years ago. I am very sad concerning your loss but there is an assurance and hope based on the Words of God Himself that Raymonds time on this earth will not be the last time you get to see and talk with him. He is just on VACATION. Hallejulah! ! ! ! ! ! ! These words from a song that is one of my favorites describes what Raymond is now experiencing: Face to Face with Christ my Saviour, face to face what will it be, When with rapture I behold Him; Jesus Christ who died for me. I certainly hope all the others in your family will be able to experience the same thing when their time comes.
I certainly will be praying for all the family and hope to hear from some of you when you get time to respond by email.
