The Reavis name has been associated with funeral service in Iredell County since prior to World War II. Reavis Funeral Home of Statesville is grateful for the support of this community and is honored to have served hundreds of families during their most difficult times of loss.

Leroy Reavis (1922-1986) and his wife, Rachel (1923-2013), together with Harvey Groce (1924-2008) were dedicated servants and much loved and respected members of this community. Leroy also served as Sheriff of Iredell County for 16 years, having been re-elected time and again. His extraordinary service and outstanding leadership earned him the love and respect of Iredell County Citizens. He died while in office in 1986. After Leroy's passing, the funeral home continued to serve under the dedication and care of Mrs. Reavis and Harvey Groce until their passing.
