Shannon Coffelt Obituary

Shannon Coffelt completed her life’s journey Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville at the age of 59, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born Shannon Marie Kidner on January 21, 1959, in Ashtabula, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Irene Mulder Kidner.

Shannon grew up and graduated high school in her native town of Ashtabula. She loved crafts and a part of her life was that of a craft vendor.

She leaves behind three adult children: sons Robert and Charles Coffelt, and daughter Jade Coffelt Solembrino, all of Ashtabula; two brothers, Jerry and Donald Kidner, also of Ashtabula; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a dear friend, Frank Ward of Statesville, NC.

Private family services will be conducted at a later date in Ashtabula.
