Roger "Dale" McCoy

  Roger "Dale" McCoy, 64, of Statesville, NC passed away on August 13, 2021.

   Dale, as he was so lovingly known as, was born on June 27, 1957 in Iredell County, NC.  He was the son of the late Clarence Walter McCoy, Jr. and the late Beatrice Ellen (Marlow) McCoy.  In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by a sister, Dorece.

   In life, Dale attended Iredell schools.  He became a truck driver and worked in transportation for 45 years.  Dale attended church at The Cove Church.  He enjoyed drag racing, trucks and car shows.

   Dale is survived by his loving wife Teresa, a son, Brandon (Amber), brothers, Terry (Janice), Lawrence (Sandra), and Jeff (Tammy), sisters, Kathy (Doc), Donna (Ronnie), and grandchildren, Maleah, Mackenzie and Kaedon McCoy.

   A visitation for Dale will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Reavis Funeral Home of Statesville from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.  A graveside service will follow visitation at 3:00 pm located at Oakwood Cemetery.
