Obituary
Lynn Ray Lowtharpe, age 68 of Statesville, North Carolina departed this world on July 26, 2023, at his home in Iredell County.
Lynn was born on December 20, 1954, in Iredell County. He was the son of Charlie Lee Lowtharpe and the late Annie (Triplett) Lowtharpe. He was also preceded in death by his sister Judy Ann Lowtharpe, and an uncle, Ralph Lowtharpe.
Lynn was disabled at birth, but he was happy being cared for at home. He had a smile for everyone.
Lynn leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving father Charlie Lowtharpe, his sister Donna Hall (Ray), nephews Will and Davis Hall, an aunt, Madge Lowtharpe of Texas, cousins Teri Jones and Debbie Markwell, both of Texas, and his best friend and caregiver, Robin Bell.
On Saturday, July 29, 2023, a graveside service will be held at Abilene Church of Christ Cemetery, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Preacher Dave Wood will officiate the service.
