Judy (Greene) Harkey

Judy Greene Harkey, 74, of Statesville passed peacefully Monday, December 28, 2020. She was born on February 9, 1946 to the late James Lester Greene and Barbara Bryson Greene. She is also preceded by her beloved husband Ernest Garland Harkey Jr., of 52 years.

Judy attended Mitchell Community College, was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, enjoyed reading, being outside, and working with the community. Judy retired from Intercraft after 30 years with the company.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Todd Harkey (Crystal), brother, Jim Greene (Sandy), sisters, Brenda Hope (Johnny), Doris Greene, grandchildren, Grayson Harkey, and Emma Harkey.

There will be a visitation held at Reavis Funeral Home on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Leukemia Foundation or a charity of your choice.
