John Allen McMurray Sr., 51, of Statesville, NC, died Saturday August 29, 2020 at his residence.

John was born July 22, 1969 in Long Beach, CA., the son of the late Mac McMurray, and Sheena Roberts.

In life John attended school at South Iredell School, he worked as a truck driver until he became disabled.

Survivors include sons Steven McMurray, Shawn McMurray both of Seagrove, NC, John McMurray Jr. of Statesville, NC, daughter Samantha McMurray of Hartsville, SC, sister Johnell Hatley (Jay) of Asheboro, NC, grandchildren Brayden, and Jamie McMurray.
