Joaquin Alberto Diaz-Flores

 Joaquin Alberto Diaz-Flores, 82 of Troutman, left this world Sunday, May 31, 2020. He goes to join his beloved wife Omaira Diaz De Diaz of 35 years in Heaven.  

Joaquin was born to the late Joaquin Diaz and Carmen Maria Flores-Diaz. He retired from owning his transportation business Transporte Joaoma C.A in 1990 and his other business Posada La Joaquinera until 2013. He gave his time to volunteering in the community by helping others and spent some time in politics.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Joanna Diaz (Alberto Noriega), sister, Miriam Diaz Flores, and his 3 grandchildren, Jose Noriega, Ana Noriega, and Alberto Jr. Noriega.

There will be a memorial service Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at St.Therese Catholic Church (Mooresville) at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark S. Lawlor officiating.

Reavis Funeral Home will be serving the family.
