Helen Irene (Elder) Moore

   Helen Irene (Elder) Moore, 79, of Statesville, NC, departed this world on December 23, 2021, from Iredell Memorial Hospital.

   Helen was born April 6, 1942, in Iredell Co., NC.  She was the daughter of the late Dewey Lee Elder and Mable Mae (Sprinkle) Elder.  In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Jake, James, and Johnnie Elder, sisters, Mary and Maude, and her son, Nelson Moore.

   In life, Helen worked for Intercraft until she retired. Helen leaves behind to cherish her memory; a daughter, Linda Shoemaker of Stony Point, a brother, Esker Elder of Stony Point, two sisters, Peggy Parker (Junior) of Statesville, Lou Haire (Joe) of Statesville, a sister-in-law, Jeanie Elder, one granddaughter, Ashley, and one great-granddaughter, Kailee Hartness, all will miss her greatly.

   There are no services scheduled at this time.
