Antoinette Rita (Yecco) Bost

   Antoinette Rita (Yecco) Bost, age 75, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem.
   Antoinette was born on August 2, 1946, in Philadelphia, PA.  She was the daughter of the late John Yecco and Florence Sarah (Dolcin) Yecco.  In addition to her parents, Antoinette was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger (Dale) Bost.
   In life, Antoinette attended schools in Pennsylvania.  Later, she chose a career in cosmetology where she was a hairdresser for many years until she retired.  Antoinette was very active at the VFW Post 2031 where she served as the Vice President of Ladies Auxiliary; she also advocated for stray dogs and fostered many homeless dogs with Happy Tails shelter.
    Antoinette leaves behind to treasure her memory, a son, Christopher Falance-Cecil (Matthew) of Winston-Salem, a daughter, Dominique Walter (Chris) of Statesville, a sister, Carol A. Yecco Black (Pete Brennan) of Ohio, and grandchildren, Caleb, Caden, Giada, and Wyatt.  Also, surviving Antoinette are, a niece Carolann Johnson (Greg) and a great nephew, Logan. She leaves behind many cousins.                                                                                           In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to your local animal shelter.
