Velmer Jeanette Kiser Wimbley, 67, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Gordon Hospice House following a long and courageous battle with COPD. She was also preceded in death by a brother, George Rodell Kiser.

Velmer had spent most of her adult life in Iredell County. A number of years ago, she worked at Statesville Chair Company but had since been a homemaker for her family. When her health permitted, she attended Landmark Church of God.
