Karen Renee Earp

Karen Renee Earp, 53, of Troutman, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Iredell Memorial Hospital after a period of declining health and heart trouble. A native of Iredell County, she was born October 5, 1965, the only daughter of the late William A.C. Earp, Jr. and the late Virginia Lee Harkey Earp. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Amon Ashley Earp, Sr.

Karen graduated from South Iredell High School, Class of 1985.  Due to her health, she was unable to work at a public job, but she helped others as she could. She enjoyed watching gameshows on television as a pastime.

She will be greatly missed by her brothers, Douglas Allen “Doug” Earp of the home and Terry Wayne Earp and wife, Teresa, also of Troutman, plus a long-time dear friend, Linda Privette of Concord.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Sunday, December 30, at the First Baptist Church of Statesville. The pastor, Dr. Nelson Granade, will officiate.
