Jerry Michael “Mike” White, 29, died as a result of a tragic automobile accident Friday morning, November 2, 2018, in Iredell County, NC. A native of Georgia, he was born October 23, 1989. He was the son of Rhonda Reynolds of Columbus, GA, who survives. In recent years, he had moved to North Carolina and was an employee of the Lowes Distribution Center in Olin.
In addition to his mother, he leaves behind a sister, Amanda Russell & husband, Darnell, of Columbus, GA; grandparents Wayne & Sylvia Rolison of Alabama and Edith Rolison of Georgia; uncles Larry & James Rolison and Michael & Jonathan Richardson; plus several aunts and cousins.
Since moving to North Carolina, Mike had acquired many friends. Those who will cherish his memory include special friends Chris Thompson, Sally & Raymond Carey, Bryson & Adriana Carey and family, and Demetrio Torres and his family, plus many co-workers and others who knew him.
When he wasn’t working, Mike enjoyed gaming and listening to a variety of music. He occasionally fished and enjoyed hanging out at “the cabin” when time permitted. Another annual event which he had recently enjoyed was going to the “haunted house” for Halloween.
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 4:00 until 6:00 PM Monday, November 5, at Reavis Funeral Home, 318 Davie Avenue, Statesville, where the body will lie in state. Condolences may be posted online at www.reavisfhstatesville.com.
