Jackie Matney Obituary

Jackie Joe Matney, 65, of Statesville, passed away on June 29, 2019 at his home.

Jackie was born May 9, 1954 in Welch County, West Virginia, a son to the late James Matney and Corine Cline Matney. In life, Jackie worked as a coal miner and in his spare time enjoyed tinkering on cars. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his brother Danny Matney and his sister Patty Roberts. He is survived by his son Jason Matney (Wendy Fraley) of Statesville and two grandchildren, Dillon Fraley and Braxton Matney.
