It is with sadness that we announce the sudden death of Deborah Ann Eldridge, age 71, following a period of declining health. She passed away Monday, January 8, 2017, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She had been a resident of Spitfire Lane in Statesville for more than seven years.
Born in the boroughs of New York City on November 7, 1946, Deborah was one of six children born to the late Joseph Leroy Eldridge and the late Roseann Clark Eldridge. She was a graduate of Florida State University. Her career spanned a number of jobs over the years, to include retail sales.
She is survived by her five siblings: Joseph L. Eldridge II and wife, Beth, of Statesville; Spencer Clark Eldridge and wife, Joanne, of Connecticut; Robert “Bobby” Eldridge and wife, Megan, of Scottsdale, AZ; William Eldridge and wife, Kathy, of Illinois; and Mary Elizabeth Johnson and husband, Charlie, of Southern Pines, NC.
