Carroll Brevard Ledbetter

Carroll Brevard Ledbetter, 67, passed away at Autumn Care of Statesville Thursday, July 5, 2018. Born October 30, 1950, in Newton, NC, he was the son of the late Daniel and Willie Ruth Hatley Ledbetter.

Following his graduation from Statesville Senior High School, Carroll served honorably for two years with the United States Army. He later attended Appalachian State University. He was a member of Mount Hermon Lutheran Church. Prior to becoming disabled, he operated Front Street Gas-n-Go for many years, and he and his wife were owner/operators there for seven years.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Pat Ledbetter; one daughter, Karen Elaine Ledbetter of Houston, TX; one son, Charles Anthony Ledbetter of California; a step-son, Brian Troy Kilpatrick of Statesville; two brothers, Don Ledbetter (Amanda) and Wayne Ledbetter (Joann), both of Statesville; one sister, Nancy Philbeck (Chuck) of Statesville; and six precious grandchildren whom he adored: Arabella, Tyler, Adam, Travis, Nevaeh and Noah.
