Brent Weatherman Obituary

Brent Patrick Weatherman, 51, formerly of Statesville, passed away peacefully at his home in Jackson, Missouri, Monday, April 23, 2018. Brent was born in Baltimore, MD, on September 29, 1966. He was the son of the late Thomas “Cecil” Woody and the late Judith Weatherman Litchfield.

Brent’s early years were spent going between Baltimore and Statesville. Shortly after graduation from high school in Maryland, he volunteered in the United States Army where he completed four years of honorable service. After the military, most of his adult life was spent in Statesville. He worked in the upholstery industry. Brent was a fun guy to be around and made everyone smile. For recreation, he enjoyed playing golf. For his listening pleasure, he had a wide and varied taste in his love of music, and he also especially enjoyed listening to Rush Limbaugh.

His memory will be cherished by his wife, Wendy Geiselman Weatherman; three sons, Brent, Jr., Tyler and Alexander Weatherman; two brothers, Tommy Weatherman and wife, Victoria, and Jamey Woody; nieces, Alley and Elizabeth Weatherman; and a nephew, Zack Woody.

A graveside committal service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, April 30, 2018, in the Veterans Section of Oakwood Cemetery in Statesville. Military Honors will be accorded by the Veterans of the Iredell County Burial Detail and the NC National Guard Honors Team.
