Shirley Lowe Davis, 80, passed away at Brian Center of Statesville Saturday, June 24, 2017, following a period of declining health. Born October 27, 1936, in nearby Alexander County, she was the daughter of the late Leonard P. and Emma Bentley Lowe.
During her working years, Mrs. Davis served as a Nurse’s Aide in the healthcare industry. Her activities for enjoyment included reading, church and social activities, watching the news and listening to gospel music and preaching.
She leaves behind a loving daughter, Ginger Braddock (Terry) of Statesville; two grandsons, Ronnie and Shane; four great grandchildren: Spencer, Chasity, Savannah and Michael; and two brothers, James and Jerry Lowe, both of the Hickory area.
In the spirit of her giving nature, her body is being donated to the Wake Forest School of Medicine.
