Norman Durmisevich, 87, a Veteran of the US Air Force and resident of Brian Center of Statesville since 2013, died Monday, October 24, 2016. Available information indicates he was born in Los Angeles, California, on July 28, 1929, that he was a welder by trade, and that he spent most of his life in California before moving to North Carolina some 10-15 years ago.
He was reportedly a high school graduate with a couple of years in college afterwards. Attendants at the Brian Center indicate that he was an avid reader and also author of one or more books as referenced by Copyright records.
