Carolyn Elaine (Davidson) Lambert

On Sunday, April 8, 2018, God called one of His faithful children home. Carolyn loved her Lord, His word, her family and her church.

She was born April 15, 1948, in Iredell County to the late Robert Lee “Happy” and Evelyn White Davidson, and on March 29, 1969, she married Thomas Lambert and resided on Liz Drive.

Carolyn was owner and operator of Carolyn’s Beauty Shop and was also a mail carrier for the local USPS. Her hobby was shopping. She was an avid “bargain” shopper but also the “Return Queen.” Family was the absolute height of her life. She was famous for her homemade mac-n-cheese.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two children, Jonathan Lambert of Olin and Emily (David) of Harmony; grandchildren Karlee and Kaleb Lambert; siblings, Bobby Davidson (Susan) and Deraine Millsaps (Arnold); nieces, Julie Thomas (Jeff) and Nikki Price (Brian), nephew, James Davidson, two great nieces, Sarabeth Thomas and Ava Price; and an aunt, Alma Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dwight and James Steven Davidson, and one niece, Liz Davidson.

Carolyn had a lifelong special friend, Sandy Barker. They shared so many favorite times.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Thursday at 12:00 PM at Bethany Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Rev. James D. Lewis will officiate. Pallbearers will be James Davidson, Toby Galliher, Rick Harris, Arnold Millsaps, Brian Price and Jeff Thomas.
